Cohor, son of Corihor

From MormonWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Cohor is a character from the Book of Mormon. He is mentioned only briefly in the Book of Ether as the brother of Noah and the son of Corihor. He followed his brother into rebellion against their father, and the Jaredite kingdom of his uncle, Shule. (Ether 7:15) It is not known how much Cohor was involved in the overthrow of the kingdom, as his name is not mentioned later. It is notable, however, that his brother Noah named his son Cohor, as well. (Ether 7:21)
