Dani Jones Mormon Illustrator

Dani Jones is an illustrator, artist, and writer. She earned a degree in illustration from Brigham Young University-Idaho. In the fall after her graduation, she traveled to New York City where she met with children’s book publishers and consequently landed her first freelance job illustrating the book Elfis. She illustrated The Best Mariachi in the World and has written and illustrated Monsters vs. Kittens and Once Upon a Time There Was a Pig. She has self-published the Webcomic My Sister the Freak and the Halloween short story Frosty the Gourdman. Her clients include Stan Lee’s Kids Universe, Simon & Schuster, Price Stern Sloan, Grosset & Dunlap, Scholastic, Highlights magazine, and the Friend magazine.

She is one of a set of triplets born in South Korea who were adopted as babies. She grew up in many different places in the United States and now makes her home on the East Coast. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
