The Book of Mormon
Solomon, son of David, was king of Israel around 1000 B.C. Solomon is mentioned in the Book of Mormon when Nephi builds a temple after the manner of the temple of Solomon. [1] Solomon's many wives and concubines are referred to in Jacob 1:15. The Nephites excuse whoredoms because of David and Solomon's behavior which was abominable before the Lord. [2]
