The Valley of Gilgal is a place that plays prominently in the last battles of the Jaredites in the Book of Mormon's Book of Ether. The valley was where Coriantumr fought Shared after regaining his throne from him. Over three days the battle was fought in the valley until Shared was force to flee to the Plains of Heshlon. Coriantumr pursued him and battled him on the plains until Shared succeeded in forcing Coriantumr to fall back to the valley again. The battle would continue again in the valley until Coriantumr succeeding in killing Shared and ending the conflict.
