Will Terry Mormon Illustrator

Will Terry is a freelance illustrator. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Brigham Young University. He grew up in the Washington, D. C. area and found his first clients there, with magazines such as Time, Money, and Wall Street Journal.

He has illustrated about thirty children's books for publishers Random House, Simon Schuster, Scholastic, Penguin, Klutz, and Albert Whitman. His titles include There Once Was a Cowpoke Who Swallowed an Ant, Skeleton for Dinner, The Three Little Gators, Señorita Gordita, Nasty Bugs, Armadilly Chili, Ghost Cat and Other Spooky Tales, Pizza Pat, Monkey & Croc, Pollywog to Frog, The Christmas Troll, and Sluefoot Sue’s Wild Ride. He has created several indie ebooks that have sold tens of thousands of copies and has started a story app series with Rick Walton beginning with Gary's Place.

Terry teaches through his YouTube vlog, his Utah Valley University classes, and through his online school Society of Visual Storytelling, which he started with Jake Parker. He speaks throughout the United States on illustration.

He began illustrating with acrylic paint but now illustrates primarily with Photoshop.

He and his wife are the parents of three sons, one of whom works with him on the story app series.
