Johnson N. Mwaura is a politician from Kenya and a Latter-day Saint.
In 1996, Mwaura served as a delegate from Kenya to a United Nations conference in Istanbul. He served on a conference commitee at the meeting.[1] He was a key figure in the events that lead to Ricahrd G. Wilkins' speech to the full body of the UN conference at Istanbul using The Family: A Proclamation to the World.
In 2007, he was a candidate for parliament for the Orange Democratic Movement.[2]
Mwaura is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was serving as an elders' quorum president in 1996 at the time of the conference.
