Heather B. Moore
Heather B. Moore, who also writes under the name of H. B. Moore, is an award-winning author of fiction and nonfiction.
Her historical novels (written under the name H. B. Moore) are set in ancient Arabia and Mesoamerica. Her four-volume Out of Jerusalem series illustrates the historical and sacred events surrounding the journey of Lehi from Jerusalem to the Promised Land, based upon the Book of Mormon. Moore is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Other historical novels based on prophets and other inspired individuals include Daughters of Jared, Esther, Abinadi, Alma, Alma the Younger, and Ammon,; as well as women of the Bible such as Deborah: Prophetess of God, Ruth, Hannah, and Anna the Prophetess. She is the author of the nonfiction book Women of the Book of Mormon.
She also writes a historical thriller series called the Omar Zagouri Thriller series. Titles include Finding Sheba, Lost King, Slave Queen, The Killing Curse, Beneath, and First Heist. She spent several years living in the Middle East.
Moore co-authored the series The Newport Ladies Book Club. All of her women’s fiction, including her volumes in the co-authored series A Timeless Romance Anthology and the Aliso Creek Novella series, is written under the name Heather B. Moore. She has written historical romance suspense novels entitled Heart of the Ocean, An Ocean Away, and several others. She has penned other romance series such as Properity Ranch series, Pine Valley series, Falling series, and Tangerine Street Romance series.
Her other historical novels include Paper Daughters of Chinatown, The Slow March of Light, Condemn Me Not, A Taste of Sun, In the Shadow of a Queen, A Secret Arrangement, and The Healing Summer.
She is also the author of nonfiction books, Christ’s Gifts to Women (co-authored with Angela Eschler), Divinity of Women (co-authored with her father, S. Kent Brown), and Women of the Book of Mormon.
She has been honored with six Best of State awards, four Whitney Awards, two Golden Quill Awards.
Moore graduated from Brigham Young University with a major in Fashion Merchandising and minor in Business Management. She also attended Cairo American College in Egypt and the Anglican School of Jerusalem in Israel.
