Mormon Musical

Trey Parker and Matt Stone, creators of the irreverent TV cartoon series, South Park, are creating a Broadway musical based on the lives and loves of Mormons. Along with Robert Lopez, the co-writer of "Avenue Q" - the writer/producers have finally settled on a script and are workshopping their new production titled, "Mormon Musical." Rehearsals begin in December 2010, and the musical should hit the stage in 2011. Mormons are bracing themselves for what they expect will be a plethora of untruths and insults set to music.
