Broyce G. Jacobs is a Canadian politician and served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. He was in office from March 2001 to November 2004, and again from March 2008 to April 2012.

Jacobs became the owner and manager of his family’s ranch. He was a Municipal District councillor for eighteen years, seventeen of those years he was a reeve. He served on many committees and task forces.

He was born in Cardston, Alberta, on July 29, 1940. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Brigham Young University, with a focus on banking and financing. He minored in economics and accounting.

Jacobs is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife, Linda, are the parents of eight children. They operate a cattle ranch with their son Troy.
