Fili Moala

Siaosi Toutoupau'u "Fili" Moala is a former professional football defensive end. After playing college football at the University of Southern California before being drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft.

Moala was born on June 23, 1985, in Buena Park, California. He participated in basketball and baseball until his mother allowed him to play football in high school. As a senior, he was a Super Prep All-Farwest, Prep Star All-West, Tom Lemming All-West and Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 selection.

Moala had signed with USC but did not qualify for admission until a year later. He attended Cypress College then transferred to USC. He was First Team All-Pac-10 and USC Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2008.

Moala played for the Colts through the 2014 season. He had re-signed to a one-year contract on March 4, 2013, and again on March 10, 2014. On August 19, 2015, he signed a one-year contract with the Houston Texans.

He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
