Matt Bushman is a professional football tight end. He was undrafted in the 2021 NFL Draft and was signed by the Las Vegas Raiders. He was released on August 31, 2021, but signed the next day to the practice squad. He was released on December 23, 2021.

On January 4, 2022, he signed to the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad and signed a reserve/future contract on February 2, 2022. He was a standout in preseason week 3, leading the team in yards and touchdowns.

Bushman was waived on August 30, 2022, with an injury designation stemming from a fractured clavicle he suffered on August 25, 2022. After clearing waivers, he was placed on the Chiefs' injured reserve. On September 8, 2022, he was released with an injury settlement. He was re-signed to the practice squad on December 20, 2022.

As part of the team, he won a Super Bowl ring when the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVII in February 2023.

Bushman has spent the majority of time during the 2023-2024 season on the Chiefs’ practice squad; however, he made his regular-season debut with Kansas City in Week 1 this season with Travis Kelce ailing. Bushman played seven offensive snaps in the win over the Detroit Lions. Bushman will be on the sideline for Super Bowl LVIII, as he was last year, cheering on his teammates.

Bushman was born on November 3, 1995, in Carbondale, Illinois, and graduated from high school in Tucson, Arizona. He played football for Brigham Young University.

He served as a full-time missionary in Santiago, Chile, and married Emily Lewis, the daughter of Chad Lewis in 2018. They welcomed their first child in September 2020.
