Sophia Robinson Marks Shaw

Sophia Robinson Marks Shaw was a founding member of the Female Relief Society of Nauvoo.

She was born on March 25, 1827, at Portage, Livingston County, New York. She moved to Kirtland, Ohio, with her parents William and Rosannah Robinson Marks by 1837. She moved to Shabbona, Illinois, about 1846 and married George W. Shaw that year. She died there on December 9, 1861.
