Zachary Proctor

Zachary Proctor is a painter and prefers to paint people. He earned his BFA degree from the University of Utah and his MFA from Utah State University. He was resident artist in Helper, Utah, from 2003 to 2004.
His work sells in galleries around the United States and has been featured in American Art Collector and Southwest Art magazine.
In July 2022, Zachary was diagnosed with Grade III Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. A Go Fund Me Fundraiser was set up on his behalf. He and his wife, Claire, are the parents of two children.
