Zayne Anderson is a professional football player and entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2021. As defensive back, he has been to the American Football Conference championship game for two seasons and went with the Chiefs to the Super Bowl in February 2023. He played seven regular season games (four in 2021 and three in 2022) and three playoff games with Kansas City. He was primarily utilized as a special teamer during his time with the Chiefs.

“It’s almost like a repeat,” said Anderson. “You get humbled your first year wherever you’re at — high school, college, the NFL — you’re just not the best anymore. You come in and put your head down and grind and hope for an opportunity, and when it comes, you seize it.”[1]

On February 17, 2023, Anderson signed a two-year deal with the Buffalo Bills.[2]

Before playing for Brigham Young University, he played running back and safety at Stansbury High School, where he also ran track. He was first in state for track in the 4x100m, 100m, 200m, and medley relay.

As a senior, he was an All-State Second Team selection by the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, despite dealing with injuries for much of the season.
