Thomas E. Mullen was called to serve on the Young Men general board of [The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints] in October 2020. He has also served as stake president, ward Young Men president, bishop, branch president at the Provo Missionary Training Center, and elders quorum president. As a young man, he served a full-time mission in the Canada Toronto Mission. He presided over the New York Utica Mission.
Mullen was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Utah. He works on the senior management team of a multinational firm, as president of a private charitable trust, and as an adjunct faculty member in religious education at Brigham Young University.
He and his wife, Susan, are the parents of four children.
