Ashleigh Ingersoll Di Lello is a professional dancer and instructor. She is best known for her appearance on "So You Think You Can Dance," where she and her husband and dance partner Ryan Di Lello made it to the top six couples.
Ashleigh began dancing at a young age. She began ballroom dance training at age 12, becoming a DanceSport Junior Latin Champion. At the age of 13, she endured over four years of an illness and injuries that threatened to keep her from ever dancing again. During that time she learned about strength training.
She met her husband at an audition. After competing together on "So You Think You Can Dance," they featured among about 20 dancers in the Broadway show "Burn the Floor," performing on the West End in London and participating in a 10-month tour that took them across America and Japan.They also created a fitness training company.
Ashleigh has also made guest appearances on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," "The Ellen Degeneres Show," and "Bones" on FOX. She has choreographed extensively and her work has been used by FOX's "Bones" and "So You Think You Can Dance", ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," the hit movie "What to Expect When You're Expecting", competitive dance teams, professional theater companies, and Royal Caribbean International.
She earned her bachelor's degree in political science and history from Brigham Young University. She is an adjunct instructor at Utah Valley University.
She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
