Luke Peterson is the director of the Office of New Urban Mechanics and lecturer in history and political science at Utah Valley University. With his past experience in local governments, he is an expert in local government management, economic development, public-private partnerships, and public sector innovation..

Peterson holds a master’s degree in public policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in history from Utah Valley University. He holds a certificate in entrepreneurship and innovation from Stanford University.

He is also a writer and applies “real world success stories in modern cities to building worlds in a fantasy setting.”[1]
