Ahmad S. Corbitt was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 2, 2023. He had been serving as the first counselor in the Young Men general presidency since April 4, 2020.
He has also served in the Church as mission president in the Dominican Republic and as a full-time missionary in the Puerto Rico San Juan Mission.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Richard Stockton College and his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University.
Earlier in his career, Corbitt worked as a trial lawyer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, then as vice president and general counsel of a public relations firm in New York City. He also worked in public relations and legal affairs for a company in Delaware. He completed a four-year appointment by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a member of the New Jersey (District IV) Ethics Committee, which oversaw ethics complaints against lawyers. He is admitted to the bars of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York and is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the International Radio and Television Society.
He and his wife, Jayne, are the parents of six children.
