Alexis Warr Burton was crowned the winner of season 17 of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance. Her win also made history: she is the first female Latin/Ballroom dancer to win the $100,000 prize.

Alexis is from Highland, Utah, and has trained at the Center Stage Performing Arts Studio in Orem in ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, tap, gymnastics, and ballroom.

She has also competed on America’s Got Talent and World of Dance. She toured with Derek Hough Live! The Tour in 2019.

She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and married her high school sweetheart, Jake Burton, in the Provo City Center Temple in 2018.
