Angela M. Berg Robertson: Mormon Scientist

Angela M. Berg Robertson is a biologist who studies human locomotion. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Robertson received her BS degree in biology from Duke University where she also had a minor in religion. She earned her PhD from Harvard University from the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology. While a graduate student from 2004 to 2010, she studied the biomechanics of avian flight. She is a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Houston Center for Neuromotor and Biomechanics Research in the National Center for Human Performance at the Texas Medical Center where she studies human locomotion, including gait transitions, balance evaluation, back injury in instrumentalists, and motor control in astronauts.
