Anthony Butters is a director, screenwriter, filmmaker, and actor. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints would recognize him for his portrayal of Jesus Christ in the Church’s Book of Mormon videos.
He appeared in his film “Follow the Random,” which he cowrote with his brother Tim. Butters is also a music composer, songwriter, and musician. He writes and performs music for his movies.
He has experience in camera operation and has worked on several films and television series as assistant, first assistant, or second assistant camera.
He is a native of New Zealand.
