April Perry launched Power of Moms in 2007 and then from 2008 to 2017 she co-directed with Saren Loosli. In 2018, Power of Moms expanded by launching Power of Families. Now Saren directs Power of Families and April directs Power of Moms. There is a team of volunteer moms that help.

April created “Mind Organization for Moms” program and is the co-author of Deliberate Motherhood: 12 Key Powers of Peace, Purpose, Order & Joy and Motherhood Realized: An Inspiring Anthology for the Hardest Job You’ll Ever Love. She blogs at Power of a Family. She also has a podcast with Robin Long called LearnDoBecome. She and her husband run LearnDoBecome.com. She also hosts Power of Moms Radio.

She and her husband, Eric, are the parents of four children. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
