Barbara Thompson was the Second Counselor to President Julie B. Beck in the general Relief Society presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was called to the position in March, 2007 and served until her release in 2012. She was the second unmarried sister to be called to the presidency (Sheri L. Dew was the first).
