Beppie Harrison Mormon Author

Beppie Harrison is an author of nonfiction books and romance novels. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Harrison spent her childhood in Hawaii and then lived in California and New York. After she married a British architect, she lived in London for ten years. She has spent much of her time in Ireland and now lives in the Detroit, Michigan area.

Her first story was published in a children’s magazine when she was eight years old. Her second was an article published in Seventeen magazine. She published eight non-fiction books before she switched to fiction. Her nonfiction books include Giving Time a Chance: The Secret of a Lasting Marriage (with Ronna Romney), Needles in the Basket: Looking at Patterns of a Woman’s Life, On being a Parent: The Crash Course in Character Development, The Shock of Motherhood: The Unexpected Challenge for the New Generation of Mothers, and Plain and Precious: An LDS Daybook of Renewal and Joy.

She switched to romantic fiction and her Heart Trilogy came out in 2014, with titles The Divided Heart, The Broken Heart, and The Willful Heart. She is a member of Greater Detroit Romance Writers of America, the Beau Monde, Hearts Through History Romance Writers, Romance Writers of America, and Celtic Hearts Romance Writers.

Harrison has worked at the University of California Press at Berkeley, Doubleday in New York, and Doubleday’s wholly owned English subsidiary, Aldus Books.

She is the mother of four grown children, including two children she adopted from Thailand and Chile.
