Boaz is a city briefly mentioned in the Book of Mormon. Having lost the city of Desolation, the Nephites made their next stand at Boaz. They fought fiercely and repelled the Lamanites until the Lamanites came a second time and slaughtered the Nephites, with the women and children being sacrificed to pagan deities.
