Cassandra Barney is an accomplished artist and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Mormon Church. Cassandra is the daughter of Mormon fantasy artist James C. Christensen. She lives with her husband and three daughters in Orem, Utah.

Cassandra was born in Provo, Utah. She earned her BFA and MFA degrees at Brigham Young University.
