Chris Burgess is a college basketball coach and a former professional basketball player.
He was assistant coach at Brigham Young University from 2019 to 2022. In April 2022, he announced that he would become an assistant coach at the University of Utah. He had previously been assistant coach at Utah Valley University (from 2015 to 2019). He was with the Utes as a graduate assistant coach. He also coached briefly at Salt Lake Community College and Indian Hills Community College in Iowa.
Burgess had an NBA career from 2002 to 2006, primarily with training camps and summer leagues. His international career continued until 2013.
He played college basketball for Duke University from 1997 to 1999 and the University of Utah from 2000 to 2002.
