Claudio D. Zivic

Claudio Daniel Zivic was a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy and is an emeritus general authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was sustained on March 31, 2007, and had served previously as a member of the Fourth Quorum of the Seventy and as an Area Seventy. Some of his areas of assignment have included Assistant Executive Director in the Temple Department, a member of the Boundary and Leadership Change Committee, and second counselor in the Caribbean Area Presidency. Prior to his call as a general authority, he served as elders quorum president, institute teacher, bishop, stake high councilor, and temple ordinance worker. He also served as president of the Spain Bilbao Mission.

Zivic was born on December 19, 1948, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He graduated with an accounting degree from the University of Buenos Aires and is a certified public accountant. He worked for more than ten years as an executive with the Grimoldi Company and has been an independent auditor and consultant. He and his wife, Dina, are the parents of five children.
