Claudio R. M. Costa (born March 25, 1949) is one of the Seven Presidents of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Elder Costa is the first and so far the only Brazilian to have served in this calling.

Elder Costa was born in Santos, Sao Paulo State, Brazil in 1949. He graduated from Colegio Pio XII and attended the Paulista School of Marketing, and the Paulista Institute of Gems and Metals. Early in his career Elder Coasta worked as a diamond cutter. He was then the finance director for Diversified Almeida Prado Company. He then became a fulltime employee of the Church Educational System and was serving as the assoiciate area director for the CES in Brazil at the time of his call as a General Authority.

ELder Costa had served for three years as president of the Brazil Manaus Mission. He also served as a regional representative, counselor in a stake presidency and as a bishop.

On April 2nd, 1994 Elder Costa was called as a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy. He was then called as a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy on March 31st, 2001. On August 1st, 2007 Elder Costa was called as one of the Seven Presidents of the Seventy.
