Corbin Kaufusi was signed by the New Orleans Saints on April 28, 2019 as a defensive end. He played football at Timpview High School in Provo, Utah, and helped his team win state championships in 2008 and 2009. He played basketball from 2014 to 2017 for Brigham Young University and football from 2016 to 2018, suffering some injuries that ended his career.
Kaufusi served as a full-time missionary in South Korea for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is the son of Steve Kaufusi, a retired defensive line coach, and Michelle Kaufusi, mayor of Provo, Utah.
