David K. Jacobs is a director, casting director, and producer for many beloved movies produced by the LDS Motion Picture Studios at Brigham Young University for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, of which he is a member.

Jacobs was casting director for The Touch of the Master’s Hand (1988), Johnny Lingo (1969), and Windows of Heaven (1963), and director and producer for The First Vision (1976), The Mailbox (1977), and Uncle Ben (1978).

He is the uncle of Rachel Jacobs who appeared in some of his films, Christian Jacobs, and Parker Jacobs.

During his college years at Brigham Young University, Jacobs appeared in How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying.
