Bishop Dean Myron Davies became the second counselor to Bishop Gary E. Stevenson in the Presiding Bishopric of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on March 31, 2012. He was named the first counselor in the Presiding Bishopric of on October 9, 2015.
At the time of his calling to the Presiding Bishopric, he was employed by the Church of Jesus Christ as the managing director of the Special Projects Department which oversees real estate, temple design and temple construction.
