Don J. Black

Don J. Black is an educator and counselor who was popular in the 1970s and 1980s for his ability to inspire listeners and readers. He wrote several books and articles and was featured on many tape recordings. His book titles include Seven Keys to Happiness, A Pocketful of Miracles, Through Clouds and Sunshine, and Warm Tones and Tiny Miracles. Some of his taped talks include “Hand to Hand Combat with Satan,” “There Are No ‘Nobodies,’” “Bridging the Generation Gap,” “The Christ-Lessons from His Life,” and "Woman of Courage, Symbol of Faith."

He was honored for his ability to connect with youth with awards such as the Distinguished Service Award and the Outstanding Youth Leader of America Award.

Black and his wife, Ann, are the parents of four children and live in Arizona where he was a psychotherapist. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
