'''Donald L. Hallstrom''' has been a [[General Authority]] for [[The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints]] since the year 2000.  In 2009, he was called to the [[Presidency of the Seventy]] where he served until August 1, 2017. 

Elder Hallstrom was born on July 27, 1949, and grew up in Hawaii.  As a youth, he enjoyed sports, including surfing.  He served an LDS [[mission]] to England from 1969 to 1971.

Elder Hallstrom studied economics at [[Brigham Young University]] and graduated with a B.S. degree. He owned and operated a real estate economics company. He has given exemplarary service to the [[Mormon Church]] over the years, including tenure as a [[bishop]], a regional representative, as an area seventy in Asia, and then in the First Quorum of the [[Seventy]].  He has also served on the executive board of the Aloha Council of the Boy [[Scouting|Scouts]] of America.

Hallstrom is married to Diane Clifton, a native of Taber, Alberta, Canada; they have four children.
