Donna Harris Vidmar was a gymnast at UCLA. She competed all-around all four years of college and helped her team take second in the national title her junior year. While competing in gymnastics, she met Peter Vidmar. She investigated The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and asked Vidmar to baptize her. They were married over a year later in 1983. They are the parents of five children.
Donna was born in Long Beach, California. From July 2016 to July 2019, Donna served with her husband while he presided over the Melbourne Australia mission. She has served in many capacities in the Church.
