Esrom is a character in the Book of Mormon. In the Book of Ether, he is noted as for helping his father Omer regain the throne of the Jaredites. Omer's kingdom was overthrown when his son Jared rebelled against him and took the kingdom for himself. While in captivity, Esrom and his brother Coriantumr raised an army, which they used to restore their father to power.[1]
