Gospel Essentials is a Sunday School class for those who are either investigating the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or who have been recently baptized. Unlike Gospel Doctrine Class, Gospel Essentials focuses on the basics and fundamental principles of the gospel.
The Church provides a teaching manual for teachers of Gospel Essentials. The same manual is used all over the world. One can access the Gospel Essentials manual online by clicking here.
