In his closing remarks at the 193rd Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, President Russell M. Nelson announced plans to construct a temple in Hamburg, Germany.
The Hamburg Germany Temple will be the third house of the Lord in Germany. Hamburg is about 175 miles northwest of Berlin. The country is home to nearly 40,000 Latter-day Saints in about 150 congregations. Other temples in the country include the Frankfurt Germany Temple and the Freiberg Germany Temple.[1]

The Hamburg Germany Temple is currently in the planning stages. No location has been announced.
