Janene Baadsgaard Mormon Writer

Janene Wolsey Baadsgaard is a prolific author having written newspaper columns and features, magazine articles, and books. Her book titles include 15 Secrets to a Happy Home; Winter’s Promise; The LDS Mother’s Almanac; Expecting Joy; Grin and Share It; Sister Bishop’s Christmas Miracle; Family Finances for LDS Families; On the Roller Coaster Called Motherhood; Families Who Laugh . . . Last; Why Does My Mother’s Day Potted Plant Always Die?; Is There Life After Birth?; For Every Mother; Healing from Abuse; Healing from Neglect; Family Finances for the Flabbergasted; Expecting Joy; and A Sense of Joy.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in communications with a journalism emphasis and taught writing and literature for Utah Valley University. She is also a popular speaker at BYU Education Week, Time Out for Women, BYU Women’s Conference, and BYU Family Expo.

She and her husband, Ross, are the parents of ten children. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
