Janiece Johnson is a professor and historian specializing in Mormon history and the Mountain Meadows Massacre. She has been a visiting professor in religion at BYU-Idaho. She previously worked on the Mountain Meadows Massacre for the history department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, of which she is a member.
