Jenna von Benedikt Mormon Artist

Jenna Devine Barsch von Benedikt is an artist of primarily abstracts and landscapes. She was born in a village north of London, England, and moved to Utah with her family in 2000. She earned her bachelor’s of fine art degree from Brigham Young University and studied at the Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy.

Von Benedikt has exhibited her work in many shows in Utah, including the Beehive Bazaar, Art Access Gallery, Springville Art Museum, Covey Center for the Arts, Eccles Art Center, Woodbury Art Museum, and a BYU Alumni Show. Her work has also exhibited in the Rochester Contemporary Art Center in New York, the Plein Air Southwest Salon in Dallas, and the LightSpaceTime Gallery in Illinois.

She juggles painting with the demands of family; she lives in Santaquin, Utah, with her husband, Joseph Von Benedikt and children. Her father-in-law is artist Wulf Barsch. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
