Jerry Borrowman is an award-winning and bestselling author. He has written historical fiction, biography, science fiction, and nonfiction. His book Three Against Hitler (with Rudi Wobbe) has been in continuous print for more than 25 years and earned the authors the National Medal of Honor from the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge. His other books are Beyond the Call of Duty, A Distant Prayer, Stories from the Life of Porter Rockwell, How 4 Feet of Plywood Saved the Grand Canyon, One Last Chance, Life and Death at Hoover Dam, and the four-part series ’Til the Boys Come Home. His novel, Compassionate Soldier: Remarkable True Stories of Mercy, Heroism and Honor from the Battlefield, is the 2017 gold medal winner in the nonfiction war and military category in Foreword Reviews' Indies Book of the Year awards.

Borrowman has also worked in life insurance and investments. He is the director of Advanced Solutions with Cambridge Financial Center. He worked with the Beneficial Life Insurance Company and the New York Life Insurance Company. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science at Idaho State University and his master’s in financial services at The American College.

He and his wife, Marcella, have four children.
