James R. "Jim" Engebretsen is the assistant dean for Corporate Relations at the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University. Brother Engebretsen was also the main founder of the More Good Foundation.
Brother Engebretsen's motivation for founding the foundation came from Engebretsen's experiences while serving as president of the Oklahoma Oklahoma City Mission from 1998-2001. During this time he encountered several missionaries who had investigators turn against the Church because of falsehoods they had read about the Church on the internet.
