John E. Fowler was a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Second Quorum of the Seventy from 1992 to 1997. He also served as a high councilor, stake presidency counselor, stake president, and Regional Representative. He taught early morning Seminary and Institute at Tulane University.
