Joni Hilton is an award-winning playwright and author of numerous books. She also produces short videos as YouTube Mom. She frequently contributes to “Music and the Spoken Word,” the weekly broadcast of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

She has written books for an LDS market; those titles include Funeral Potatoes, Golden: A Novel, Ten-Cow Wives’ Club, The Power of Prayer, The Best Kind of Mom, As the Ward Turns, Around the Ward in 80 Days, Stop the Ward; I Want to Get Off, Scrambled Home Evenings, That’s What Friends Are For, Dating: No Guts, No Glory.

Her mainstream titles include Jungle, Sisters in the Mix, Pinholes into Heaven, Housekeeping Secrets My Mother Never Taught Me, Cooking Secrets My Mother Never Taught Me, The Once-a-Week Cooking Plan, Guilt-Free Motherhood: How to Raise Great Kids and Have Fun Doing It, Five-Minute Miracles: 373 Quick, Daily Projects for You and Your Kids to Share, Honey on Hot Bread and Other Heartfelt Wishes.

She also writes regularly for Meridian Magazine, an online magazine for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, of which she is a member. She and her husband, Bob, are the parents of four children.
