Beverly Joy Frewin Evans served as First Counselor to Barbara W. Winder in the Relief Society general presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Her life was filled with kind service to the Church, to her family, and to those around her. She served in the Primary and the Young Women’s organizations and served twice as a ward Relief Society president, as a stake Relief Society president, and for eight and a half years on the Relief Society general board. She served a full-time mission with her husband, David C. Evans, in the Tennessee Nashville Mission. Following his death, she served two additional missions, one to the Preston England Temple and the second to the Manila Philippines Temple.
