Juan A. Uceda Andrade (born 1954) was an area authority seventy and the second counselor in the South America West Area (Bolivia and Peru) Presidency.  In 2002 he was released as an area seventy.

He has since moved to New Jersey, and now serves as a counselor in the Cherry Hill New Jersey Stake presidency.
 
 
 
Brother Uceda was one of the original 117 Area Authorities called in 1995.  He was one of six called to serve in the South American North Area, the South America West Area had not yet been organized at that time. 
 
 
 
Three of the other Area Authorities called in the South American North Area in 1995, [[Eduardo Gavarret]], [[Walter F. Gonzzalez]] and [[Carl B. Pratt]] would later serve as General Autorities.
 
 
 
At the time of his call as an Area Authority Seventy Brother Uceda was working as a [[Church Educational System]] director.  Prior to his call as an area authority Brother Uceda has served as a regional representative, bishop and president of the Lima Peru Magdelena Stake among other callings.  Uceda also served as president of the [[Peru Lima North Mission]] from January 1992 until 1995.
 
 
 
Brother Uceda is a native of Lima, Peru.  He has a bacehlors degree from the Superior Institute of Jose C. Mareategui. 
 
 
 
Brother Uceda's wife is the former Maria Isabel Bendezu, who was born in Santiago.  They are the parents of four children.
