The Book of Mormon
Lib is a character in the Book of Mormon's Book of Ether. He is known for being a king over the Jaredites. Like his father, he ruled in righteousness and his people were blessed exceedingly for in. In his time his people expanded across the face of the land northward and were exceedingly industrious. Lib himself was a great hunter and in his day, the land southward was rid of poisonous serpents, but was kept and preserved for hunting food for the people. As he grew old, he conferred his kingdom upon his son Hearthom.

He is noted in the genealogy of Ether listed in the Book of Ether as being the father of Hearthom and the son of Kish.
