Lisa Lowell Mormon Author

Lisa Lowell is the author of Talismans and Ley Lines in The Wise Ones series. She teaches middle school English and was named VFW Oregon Teacher of the Year in 2011.

Lowell holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and a master’s degree in English as a Second Language from Western Oregon University. She was born in southern Oregon in 1967 and wrote poetry as a child and fantasy during adolescence.

She and her husband, Pat, are the parents of three adopted children. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
