Luacine Clark Fox

Luacine Savage Clark Fox was a talented musician and will be well remembered for the beloved hymn “Love One Another,” which she both wrote the lyrics for and composed. The hymn was included in the 1985 Hymns of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was born on December 31, 1914, in Washington, D.C. she attended the University of Utah and wrote and produced a radio program, “Story Telling Time,” for KSL in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her other creative work included award-winning media productions, Book of Mormon dramas, general conference productions, and two cantatas.

She served as a member of YWMIA general board. She and her husband, Orval C. Fox, served as missionaries in Nauvoo, Illinois.

She and Orval were the parents of three children. She passed away on August 23, 2002, in Salt Lake City.
